We shopped the competition for you and here is what we found.

First, we chose n average size window, 24″ wide by 36″ tall. 

We asked for the quote to include 10 of these windows.  Then we asked for the quote to include windows that are triple pane.  We also wanted the quote to include installation.

Some companies didn’t offer triple pane and most were hesitant to include the cost of installation.

Most of the quotes given were a range, so we only included the lowest price of the range we were given for each company.

I’d like to tell you a story.

You see, I was chatting with my coworker a while back.  He is in the home remodeling and construction industry.  I asked him about replacement windows.

Just like any other homeowner, I was slowly fixing and improving my home.  Windows were next on my list, and I was having a hard time getting a ballpark idea on cost.

So I asked him, “Why is it so hard to price out different windows?  Aren’t they all pretty much universal in size?”

The answer was frustrating.  So I pushed a bit harder and kept asking, “Why?”

Why are windows so tough to price?  Why are windows so tough to measure?  Why do window companies hide behind 3 -hour sales pitches and old, slimy sales tactics?  What is it so hard to just price and buy windows?

Seriously, windows are pretty much the most boring upgrade to your house.  You are literally buying something you don’t typically want to see.  You want to see right through it.

So I challenged him a bit.  I asked him, “What’s the best window?” and “Why couldn’t you just charge a flat rate and have most windows be covered for that price?”

From that conversation, Easy Order Windows was born.

We have started and run a few businesses.  Customers just want the easiest way to get what they want at a fair price.  Actually, they want the best at a bargain.

So let’s take a look at what we did to make these windows some of the best available for your home.

First, we started with a solid foundation.  Vinyl frames that are strong, durable and resilient.  As maintenance free as possible.  The we filled those frames with a proprietary foam insulation.  We even went into full-on overkill mode and added steel and fiberglass reinforced sashes.  What for, you may ask?  So that the locks actually have something strong to bolt into, instead of just threading into plastic.

Next, we tackled the glass.  We went with triple-pane, double strength glass.  In replacement windows the name of the game is efficiency.  Our triple pane windows are hitting insulation numbers that no window at our price point can touch.

Next, we added the basics for efficiency, such as Low-E coating and argon gas.  Most windows these days include these things.  We just have two pockets of Argon gas, since the windows we offer are all triple pane.

Then we upped our game with a more efficient spacer.  I didn’t think much about window spacers until I learned you can drop the U-factor a point or two by using a better spacer.  So we did.

Moving along, we worked on the mechanics of the window.  We added designs to keep the wind, rain and snow outside and the comfort inside.  Check out our frame designs, if you want.  These windows are tight, solid and efficient.

Finally, we needed installers that knew what they were doing.  These are not your run-of-the-mill Craigslist ad people with a rusty truck and a hammer.  These are trained window installers that work with our manufacturer to get the skills needed to get your windows installed right.

To top all of this off, we put the windows at one flat price.  I want ordering windows to be easy and fun, but mostly easy.  We can all have fun doing other things when we are not ordering windows.  So we made it fast.
